Put Me Makeup

Salam & Hi!

My roomate, Adibah and I were watching wedding videos on vimeo earlier today. We were telling each other how we wanted our wedding videos to be like and where we want to have our weddings. She wanted her wedding video to be simple but at the same time very meaningful. As for me, if theres just one thing I could ask for, it would be the background song. Pleaseeee... No sad song please...! It spoils the mood totally.

Next thing, what I heard was "Do you want me to do a full makeup on you babe?"

Without hesitation!

I  always knew she was into makeup. And of course I pretended I was the bride makeup client.  I just have to sit and let the magic happens. Thanks Dibs!

Ramadan Day 7

Salam & Hi.

Ramadan's Chronicles - Day 7

My short notes:

1. Fragility is not a weakness. Fragility is a way of humility.
- We can be ignorant and fragile among people, but we can be knowledgeable and strong with the help of God
- We as humans need physical protection & psychological protection
- Do not pretend to be strong within our family or community, when we are not
- Our problem: Lack of trust among family members / community to speak about our weaknesses
- Do not avoid our weaknesses but talk about it, deal with it, turn it into a powerful spiritual meaning (weakness keeps us humble, gain trust within loved ones)
- We need the presence of the people who can help us to protect ourselves from our own fragility, people whom we can trust
- We need Allah to deal with our fragility
- Find the people whom we can talk about our fragility, and whom with all their heart wanna help us to transform our fragility into qualities and humility.

Ramadan Kareem.

Ramadan Day 5

Salam & Hi!

Ramadan's Chronicles - Day 5

My short notes:

1. Muhammad pbuh: a conciliator and a man of peace
- always try to make peace / be a conciliator for other people
- Peace tranquility is greater than power obsession (over money & reputation)
- Respecting the hope and the aspiration of everyone, but at the same time try to make peace (characteristic of a good conciliator)
- The Believers are sisters & brothers in Islam... to achieve this, we all must be Active and Committed to create this sisterhood & brotherhood bond
- Spread peace
- To be at peace is the best
- To achieve the inner peace... Spread peace, be a conciliator

2. Ask these questions..
- Which way in our life are we spreading peace?
- Are we at the level where, when people are looking at us they can see we are spreading peace?

Happy Ramadan!
