Ok, me n myself... Again, ader issue.... =( as written for the title.... CRITICAL THINKING! OMG! Why would someone invent tis! Salah Edward De-Bono kah?? Jeez....!

I was (am still now) preparing for my interview with IRISH CONSORTIUM, which will be on the 17th of January 2011, to get into one of the top Ireland Med School.... Starting from leprechauns, to the streets keep changing names from one corner to another.... It rains A LOT... No tall buildings.... U2, Westlife.... till, Mary McAleese is the President of Ireland.... Next, I googled "How Doctors Think" stuff....which introduced me to a book by Jerome Groopman... I WANT TIS BOOK SOO BAD! =(( any chance to go to Kinokuniya?? after those google-ing sessions, it was highlighted that i need CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS in order to answer interview questions thoroughly !

Here I am..... Figuring wut critical thinking is all bout...? again, I did some google-ing.... n found....

2. Be consistent in your remarks.

Well, today today today! Had a great time together wit....

Went to Empire Shopping Gallery, Subang Jaya... Tried on the REX SLIDE! Hmm, it is the World Tallest Indoor Tube Slide... 5 storey high... Not Bad at all huh? =P

At nite, went to catch movie wit Mat Su n Nadzrah... Where else? Sunway... =)) A malay movie... "Aku Masih Dara" Ok, kitorang pun pelik why we chose tis movie... haha... But it was, OK.. =))

This story was bout tis 3 young "gurl-juz-wanna-have-fun" girlfriends (Hani, Sophea, & Aleesya)... Enjoying life, partying/clubbing n shopping... n at the same time, they portrayed different perception on Islam, based on their upbringing... Sorang parents mmg dah jauh terpesong, sorang mak ayah siang malam pagi petang solat n berdoa tp tetap hidup susah, n sorang lagi, mak ayah trust her too much..! Then, came Firdaus (Aleesya's cousin) to look after si Alisha nie... (yer agak odd sket bila, firdaus nie ader ajak alisha keluar minum waktu malam... ceiyt! dua org je??)

Lets not tell everythin... Tengok la sendiri... =))

Still remember few lines on the script:

"why you want tall guy? its complicated to kiss ok..."

N as for Farid Kamil's watak... woow! Walaupun, dah saturated dalam movie2, tp yeah, lakonan super bagus!.... =))

Overall, i think director Ahmad Idham n producer David Teo r making better n better collaborations...! =))

From the title of the post, i bet u can already guess wut tis entry will tell u mostly about.... =)) yeah, KOREA! Finally, BEEN THERE! =)) It was indeed a BEAUTIFUL country....Scenery nye sgt lah cantik... Wherever u go, u'll see mountains n river.... Like, seriously! Subhanallah...

1st Day

Eat. Pray. Sleep...?

I dunno why tertarik nak ambik gambar FOOD! =D

Arrived at Incheon International Airport early in the morning.... subuh! after an a biit longgg 6-hour-flight...

Since its winter, the temperature reached 0 degree celcius... (n it was expected to decrease waay minus minus) gosh! Its weird though, cuz we can literally see the sun, but its really cold out there...! =)

Went straight to visit the museum, the Palace n the Blue House (similar purpose to the White House...)

Then, had our lunch at an Indian Restaurant... NICEST CAPATI eaten so far! =))

Owh ya, one advise, dun stand still kat tepi jalan if u are waiting for someone (xkesah standing wit urmom/ur dad sekali pun)

While waiting for others to finish solat, tis one korean lady tibe2 je, datang n bwat cakap2...

How korea n everythin... First time? Malaysian? Tibe2, i have a sister who is staying in Malaysia... (Siap tunjuk note book dier lagi wit so called her "SISTER" nyer address n few other contact details...)

Next guess wut...? I think tis hotel i'm stayin at now is awful, i think i should change... u wanna see? Its awful.. Can u follow me? (Dalam hati, SUDAH....!) Cuak kowt, then... Can u give me USD10, i wanna eat...

WOW, APEKAH?! Tros jalan, jalan cepat...., gi tempat lain...

So better jangan berdiri too long at one place... Luckily tis lady jenis datang cakap2... It possibly could be worst... So, dun stand too long at one place...! Remember that...

Seterusnya, straight to Nami Island!!!

About an hour kowt (xingat, but not that long) from bandar Seoul itu.. Hmm, the famous Winter Sonata was shot here! AWESOME SCENARY! SANGAT UNFORGETABLE~ It was indeed a romantic place... Sila lah DREAM untuk visit Nami Island...(with the loved ones)! Eh eh, dun get me wrong... When i said loved ones, it can be again ur MOM, ur DAD, ur MAK TOK, ur.................. =))

It was already dark at 6.00 pm... Had dinner at tis restaurant which as well appeared in Winter Sonata... Felt really great! Fell in love wit KIMCHI... =D

2 nd Day

SKI!!!! First time experiencing snow! after 19 years of living... huurm. =P

first time wearing the ski boots felt just like wearing the skating boots... So fella, if u've done ice-skating before, then skiing wont be a problem... I BET U! =DD

somehow, we only get to ski at tis very small area wit people berdiri everywhere kat tengah2 tu.... Its hard to move around... So, next time if betul2 nak ski, plan only for SKIING! Cuz it needs like a week to sort of "master" skiing... Best part, dapat ski from the top straight down! (So, tis will be one of the things i wanna do before i die!)

Next, off to EVERLAND! Its a theme park, almost similar to Movie World Gold Coast.... (tp Movie World lg Best, of course!)

Frustrated cuz missed the chance to ride on one of the biggest roller coasters due to bad weather... Sampai je depan entry booth tu, read : "Sorry, temporary closed due to bad weather..." arrgh~ Luckily, the 360 roller coaster tu xtutup! YEAY!

Owh ya, the Safari World kat situ was quite COOL! Naik mini bus around to see all da "Safari"animals..... =))

And.....

salute animal show kat overseas so far.....

they'll create a story in which the animals BERLAKON skali!

serious nak kne suggest kat Zoo Negara... =P

3rd Day

Back to Seoul for some shopping! =)) Went to the Amethyst Factory (xder la kilang sangat pun actually! hehe....) n the Kedai Ginseng... These two r korean's best products... Tp mestilah MAHAL sesangat! N they said their skin cantik because they eat ginseng dari baby lagi... They even put ginseng dalam Kimchi (which they'll eat everyday)... So basically, they'll eat ginseng everyday too!

Wink* wink* somebody bought herself a new pair of sneakers .......

AT LAST, i owned a Skechers! I've been dreaming of tis since Britney Spears was the spokesperson! How long was that?! =))

Okay... A bit of info.. Their currency is small (10 000 won = RM30), but in term of purchasing power, sama mcm purchase items in USD! So everything, times 3!!

Not much of shopping.... plus, its winter... Not much of baju which bole dipakai di Malaysia... Winter coats n boots somehow, SUPER AWESOME!! No wonder Koreans are all fashionableNESS! =DD

Also, went to Namdaemun Market! Fav place jugak bole kate... Handmade accessories! Bracelets, hair bands... Stuff u wanna buy from EVITA PERONI, sort of.... But here, BEAUTIFULl n CHEAP went along wit each other! =DD

Owh yaaa.... Another one thing i forgot to mention! Along the journey from one place to another, we watched Dae Jang Geum... Its a VERY popular korean drama.... Tp managed to watch the highlights only.... Almost 4 hours jugak... SANGAT BEST!!! Tis story was bout the life of the apprentice cook of the royal kitchen...(fuh! get it x?) then, she became the royal doctor pulak... =)) SUKE! I think yeah, COOKING n MEDICINE do have connection! =D

4th Day

Woke up at 4 am! Left the hotel for breakfast at 5.30 am.... Had a super nice korean noodle wit of course, KIMCHI! =)) (i think i had once had tis exact kinda noodle at PENANG TESCO's foodcourt... But unfortunately, i couldnt find it elsewhere... It was a "HOME-MADE NOODLE", saw the cook made it over the counter... So i guess, that was its specialty...)

Arrived at the airport around 9 am..... Bid goodbye to Mr Haki n Shaun the photographer....

to.................VIETNAM aka MOTORCYCLE CITY!!

5th Day

Piinn.. Pinn...

INFO : In Viet Nam (thats how they spell their country's name..),

car license is too expensive... So most people choose to own motorcycle licenses instead....

Shopping! =)) Okaaay, in Vietnam u can shop-a-lot! Serious MURAH! Tp kne bargain... Kalu x, MAHAL giler2! Bid for 50% discount! Seriously 50%!

Hmm TAPI TAPI TAPI, dun go for shopping early in the morning... Sesunnguhnya they dun like it kalu pagi2 lagi mintak discount, i dunno why.. N they'll get really2 pissed-off if u r their 1st costumer but u dont buy... Mcm bring bad luck for the whole day..... Serious diorg akan kutuk2 in their language... Sabar je la... (Come on, nak tengok pun xleh ker?!) Hmmm.....

OK je... agak down~

I know a lot of ppl like tis film a lot..

(including my sis yg beriye2 kate cite nie BEST SESANGAT tu) I dunno, agak kosong... No strong msg nak disampaikan, plain... Story plot was GOOD tapi nmpak rushing.... Sangat nak cepat, sampai dialog n facial expression seemed X REAL! n TUKAR actress?? ouch! Kecewa2~ I think i better read da novel, cuz i extremely love da storyline....and other few elements.... Especially da diary, picture album n ring... awwww.... I wish....... >.<

On the other hand, CINEMATOGRAPHY = SUPERB!!!! SUPER TERRIFIC!! =D

HoW to PacK a LuGgaGe....??

SaLaM n Hye..... =)

ITS HOLIDAY SEASON!! =)) Pick a destination! ( its like deciding which chocolate to pluck from a box, doesn't it? - you can see, but you dont know wut it is like on the inside until you have taken a bite...)

Hmmm, but when it comes to PACKING TIME...! haaaaa~ You know how you're supposed to fit everything into your luggage in THE MOST SPACE EFFICIENT WAY to avoid an OVER-SIZED luggage....and mostly to avoid paying the extra weight??!

Well, the problem is it's not easy for me to think of ways to fit in all my stuff (as the coat, sweater n boots are already taking up a lot of spaces) into the luggage....

So, I started google-ing "HOW TO PACK A LUGGAGE, HOW TO PACK FOR VACATION..." yadaaa...yadaaaa....

Here wut I found (they were all typical though!) :

-make a list

(checked)

-expect to wear da same clothing items more than once

(eehhh?? fond of RED coloured!)

-roll the clothes n tie wit rubber bands???

(haha....?? applicable if u wanna go camping n hiking or something... I DID THAT! but for vacation???)

CONCLUSION : NOT HELPING... =(

Then, i remembered tis SUPER AWESOME book led bought a year ago (after i begged him like err.. 5 times??) =D

IT HELPED A lOT!! (always tells me wut I WANNA HEAR.... ahaks~)

Here are few lines that I LOVE da MOST! =))

- Leave some room for shopping abroad. If you don't manage tis - well let's face it, a suitcase is there to be filled - try to squeeze an extra holdall flat...........

( see, it does not FORCE you to actually LEAVE EMPTY SPACES sampai kne pkai same baju TWICE?!)

-How to shut a suitcase? Aha, now that's another thing. Try everything, push and pull, squeeze and plead, and if all else fails sit on and hope that you dont have to open it till the other end.

(TRIPLE LIKING!)

-You dont have to pack a suitcase that you can lift, but one that someone else can lift, or at least help you DRAG across to a trolley. haha...

(PURE GOOD IDEA!)

Moral of the story : I actually write tis post to introduce bout tis book... =)) GIRLS, its SUPER AWESOME!

Hmmm... It was tis incident that made don't write.... Nvm....Lets juz forget bout it, i'm back... =DD I'll try my best to keep writting... But dun expect much when i'm back at college.... =))

p/s : sorry for not writing the continued version of my job attachment (shadowed a clinical doctor)... I did observed Dr. Nora at UM Hospital.... It was indeed a memorable experience!
